Oleg Chickhanov, “Chick” began soccer in his native Russia on the Youth National Team. Later, he came to the United States to continue his career and played for William Carey College where he was a 1st Team All-American. He was drafted by 2 professional soccer leagues and went to play with the Nashville Metros (A League) and the Pensacola Flyers (EISL). “Chick” holds a “USSF A” license and is on the MS Olympic development Coaching Staff. He has been assistant coach with Meridian Community College (1997-1999) and most recently was the assistant men's and women's coach at William Carey College (1999-2003). He has been involved in youth soccer for many years and his U13Boys team is the current Mississippi State Champion.

Coach Paul Martin

Paul Martin, played competitive soccer for 20 years. He ended his career with the Torreon Santos in Laguna, Mexico.  Paul helped begin the soccer program in George and Greene counties and holds a “USSF B” license. He also holds a “National Youth License” and is on the MS Olympic Development Coaching Staff. He is a MYSA/USYSA State  Instructor. Paul was named MYSA 1999 Girls' Coach of the Year. In 2001, he led his George County High School women's team to the state finals and was named the Sun Herald Girls' Coach of the Year. Paul has been involved in youth soccer for many years and is one of the most respected coaches the state of Mississippi. Gulf Coast United FC's U18 Girls team, which Paul coached 2002 and 2003, is the current Mississippi State Champion.

Chris Pryor is a native of South Mississippi and has been involved in soccer for 20 years.  He played in the D.O.D.D.S. system in Europe for six years.  He played college soccer for William Carey College where he was a two-time All American.  Chris holds a “USSF B” license and is on the MS Olympic Development Coaching Staff.  He has most recently been involved in coaching youth soccer with SMSC United.

Byron Clarke began playing soccer in the German youth leagues at age 5 and the club leagues from age 7-11. At age-10 his team was invited to play in the European youth championships. He played in the Japanese club system from the age of 12-14. High school and club soccer were played in New Jersey. In college he played club soccer for LSU and MSU winning several tournaments and championships. After college he briefly played semi-pro for the Chattanooga Express and then played and coached in the New Orleans SELASA men’s league for 8-years earning several league cups. After stopping league play, he earned his National C Coaching License and began coaching with Gulf Coast United. He is the coaching director for SMSC for the 2006-2007 season.

Coach Natalie Colle has been involved with coaching youth soccer since 1999, working with U10 to U18 girl's soccer teams. She has been with GCUFC since it's beginnings in 2002. She plays soccer in an adult league in Mobile, and is the Head Coach for Ocean Springs Middle School Girl's soccer team, since 2004. She is a member of the U.S. Soccer Coaches Organization and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Licensing: USSF National C, USSF National Youth, KNVB Youth Soccer Certification, NFHS Sport First Aid & Coaching Principles Certification for Para-Professional License, NSCAA National Youth and NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.

Donevin Esterhuizen, is a native of Johannesburg, South Africa. Donevin attended William Carey Univ in Gulfport, MS. He graduated from William Carey Univ in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in management and marketing. During his time with the Crusaders, he served as a team captain and earned NAIA 1st Team All-America honors. Played junior professional soccer as an apprentice in South Africa. In the United States, Donevin played for Orlando Kraze of the Premier Development League from 1999-2003.

Warren Gifford played soccer from the 6th through 12th grade in the Washington D.C. area.  He then moved on to the collegiate level play for Cedarville College (now Cedarville University, Ohio) and was a three year starter.  The team was 6th ranked nationally.  As a result of this accomplishment, he was added to the Hall of Fame at Cedarville.  After college he played in numerous indoor and outdoor mens’ leagues in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He has been coaching since 1984 in Ohio and Mississippi and has coached teams from U-10 to U-18 to several district championships and has produced a U-18 girls’ state champion team.

Nick Middleton graduated from St. Stanislaus High School in 1999, went to Meridian Community College were team won NJCAA National Championship in 2001.  After MCC, went to Tennessee Wesleyan College and played the rest of his college soccer with TWC.  Also played in the PDL with the New Orleans Shell Shockers in 2005.  Now Nick is Head Coach of St. Stanislaus High School.  And coachs GCUFC U11Bs.  He resides in Waveland, MS with his fiancee and there kids Auston 7, and Mia 6 months.

Coach Thierry Reverse' has been involved with soccer since age 5. Born and raised in Gent, Belgium, he started playing at U5 in the Royal Belgium youth soccer division for KAA Gent futbol club until U14, when he moved to the United States, where he played High School soccer in South Florida and Mississippi. A long time fan and player of the game he is very passionate about youth soccer and promoting the sport. He is a member of the US Youth soccer coaches connection, the Mississippi Soccer Association and the NSCAA. His most recent coaching history includes the OSSO 2007 league champions U10 Girls team and the 2008 OSSO Allstar U12 girls team.

Tony Schibeci began playing soccer in South America and Italy for various clubs.  He played professionally for Deportivo Anzoguategi in Venezuela, the Oxnard Kickers of Los Angeles, CA and C-3 Agnano, Napoli Calcio Italy. Tony has coached select soccer in Mississippi for more than 7-years.
