The Gulf Coast United Futbol Club, Inc. is pleased to offer a scholarship program for players of Demonstrated ability who need financial assistance in order to participate. Please complete the following application, along with appropriate signatures, and provide any additional information on documentation that will aid the review board in determining eligibility.

Scholarship application.

As our club progresses we have many players wanting to play college soccer. Coaches are looking at players from ages U-15 and above. There are several things that you as a player can do to increase your chances of earning a scholarship to play soccer in college.

1. Identify the level that you will be able to play at. ie. Junior College, Division III, NAIA, Division II, Division I. An honest assessment is needed by players and coaches involved to select the right type of school for you.

2. Complete a resume that you can send to coaches from colleges and universities that you might be interested in. The link posted here is a sample player resume that can be completed and sent to schools that players are interested in attending. Sample College Player Resume

3. Complete and online College Resume. Many of the top tournaments and college showcase events are using online systems for seeding teams and completing tournament player guides. One of the more popular systems is http://www.soccerincollege.com. Find you team page of search the Athelete section of the site to locate your profile information. There are free listings for team pages and additional paid services. Check each tournament web sites to see how the respective tournament will put together their college coaches guide
