Training Options

Academy Skills Night-Training only option

Academy skills night will be focused entirely on individual skills. We will work on skills such as 1v1 attacking/defending and striking/receiving the ball properly.  This option is for Monday training only.

 

Houston Dynamo Gulf Coast Youth Academy-Training & Team option

If you choose to participate in our Houston Dynamo Academy Gulf Coast program, the player will train two times per week. This program will include games on the weekends against other academy teams from other cities such as Ocean Springs, Mandeville, New Orleans, Mobile and Pensacola to name a few. This program is geared toward the player interested in getting to the next level of play. When possible, we will strive to play our games on Sunday afternoons to accommodate the players in the Houston Dynamo Academy Gulf Coast who also would like to play at the D3 level with other programs such as SMSC or OSSO.  This option also includes participation in tournaments.

 

 

    

 What to wear/bring to training sessions Minimize

1. Light and comfortable athletic wear.

2. Shin guards and soccer cleats at all trainings.

3. Size 4 soccer ball.

4. Water or Gatorade to every training.
