LOCATION: HWY 90 at the BEACH @ COURTHOUSE ROAD in Gulfport
FORMAT: 5 V 5 (4 on field, plus a goalkeeper) *There is NO OFFSIDES.
2 x 12min periods played with 2 min. rest in between.
TEAM SIZE: 10 players max on a roster in all divisions. Only players on roster may play.
FIELD SIZE: Youth: 25 x 35 yards Adults: 30 x 40 yards.
AGES: Boys & Girls U10-U18, Adult Women’s and Men’s Open & Adult Co-ed
*A min. of 3 females required for Co-ed teams; 2 females must be on the field at all times during Co-ed games. Youth players must be of Appropriate Age on day of tournament. No changes to your roster after you hand in your final roster at Check-in.
GAMES: Each team will play 3 games. A Final game or Round-robin will be determined for each age group depending on number of teams. If there is a tie in the semi-final or final match, then there will be a 3 min. golden goal period. If still a tie after that, then there will be a shootout to determine winner.
UNIFORMS: Bring your own uniforms or one team will be supplied with scrimmage vests.
FOOT GEAR: No shoes, cleats or shin guards of any kind are allowed. Players can play either bare feet or with socks. Additional wrapping tape is recommended (on your bare feet or on the outside of your socks) in order to better protect your feet from hot sand, etc. No jewelry of any kind is allowed. This includes watches, earrings, etc. No casts, air-splints or metal splints will be allowed to participate.
